A fantastic tropical Kitesurfing destination in the Far East. Experience the ultimate in kitesurfing and windsurfing- a white sand lagoon fringed by palm trees and vibrant coral reefs. Dine out in style with food from nearly every cuisine on the planet, and party with the friendliest locals in the world. Welcome to Boracay!

Boracay is a small tropical island located less than one hour flight away from the capital of The Philippines, Manila. Due to its natural beauty and extremely reliable trade winds, Boracay is regarded as Asia's top kitesurfing resort.

You will stay at the luxurious Reef Retreat, set within lush tropical gardens and on the grounds of the kitesurfing centre, literally only 10 meters away from the beach. Ocean Republic is the kitesurfing centre where we you will be based and is Asia's first internationally recognised (International Kiteboarding Organisation) IKO centre. There is a kite rigging area, along with changing facilities, video briefing area, toilets and board storage. You can get drinks and meals all day long at the beach front cafe, conveniently situated right near the centre.

Winsurfers will use the new Starboard/Severne centre which is packed with the latest boards and sails from two leading brands in the industry.

The town is well spaced along the length of the island and offers a huge variety of international cuisine from fresh seafood to Australian T-Bone steaks and even Mongolian BBQs. The locals are some of the friendliest people on earth and will make you feel comfortable and safe throughout the length of your stay. On the leeward side of the island and within 10 minutes walk from the resort, you will find one of the most stunning white sand beaches on earth, from which you can witness daily sunsets whilst chilling out at one of many beach bars.

On the windward side of the island, or Bulabog Beach, the shallow white sand beach extends 800m out into the lagoon giving waist deep water across all of the 2 ½ km bay, perfect for learning. And thanks to the fringing reef, the sailing area is nice and flat for the lower tide with a little more bump to jump at high tides when more water can spill over the reef.

For the more experienced, there are waves on the reef and 2 deep water inlets where the waves build but don't break, providing deep water and ramps for jumping. The water is crystal clear and Oh! the views are stunning!

If you've been dreaming of gliding across turquoise lagoons fringed by palm trees and vibrant coral reefs in Asia's number one windsurfing and kitesurfing resort, call +44 (0)1243 374615 to book your place.

Note about international flights
It's best to get a flight that arrives in Manila in the morning to help ease transfers to Caticlan (nearby Boracay airport). Connecting flights to Caticlan from Manila generally stop around 4-4.30 pm meaning you would either need to stay a night in Manila or take a connecting flight to another airport 1.5 hours bus ride from Boracay. Extra costs would be incurred with this arrangement.
