Overview
This clinic will get you jumping better, riding the right wave in the right way as your turns receive the full tune-up. For the more adventurous, Jem will cover forward, backward loops and push-loops, advanced wave riding skills such as better bottom and top turns, smacking lips and aerials, and wave theory such as wave selection and positioning. This clinic will push your wavesailing to new levels.
Moulay is a serious wavesailing destination and an amazing location for a wave clinic. This clinic is timed to have the best chance for strong winds and good swell. Expect big jumps and big waves, not helicopter tacks and gybing practice. We’ve been working to get Jem here for a couple of years and 2010 will be his inaugural clinic. A lot of people have been waiting for this and we’re expecting it to sell out very fast.
Equipment
For 2013 we will have the latest North/Fanatic gear available. It’s a small centre and very well equipped for sailors (upto 85kg) and windier weather (25 knots+) with a good selection of single and multi fin waveboards (including several Starboard prototypes on trial with Boujmaa). If you are significantly over 85kg or cannot bear the thought of missing a single session, you may prefer to bring your own equipment, especially larger wave boards or freestyle waves for lighter wind days. The locals here are all very light and rarely bother going out with anything bigger than a 4.7 meaning they don’t prioritize bigger kit in the centre.
Accommodation and food
This clinic will be housed in shared rooms with half-board. Breakfast and evening meal will be local style – good wholesome food such as tajines, cous cous or fish bbqs. There are a number of local café’s where you can find lunch for just a few pounds each day.

About Jem
Jem Hall needs little in the way of introduction as one of the sports best known gurus. Jem began as a lowly instructor and worked his way up to centre manager in Vassiliki. He then found a job on the Boards magazine test team as a professional tester.
He then went on to launch his career as a full time technique guru after many years of coaching amateur and professional windsurfers alongside the testing. He now has two hugely popular technique DVDs – Beginner to Winner and Winner to Wavesailor, and writes regular technique columns for Boards and Boardseeker magazines.
His larger than life reputation and undeniably loud voice often conceal that fact that he employs bang up to date coaching techniques adapted from his sports science background, and that he really cares about his clients. If you haven’t experienced Jem’s coaching before expect to receive focussed, detailed feedback, delivered with a strong element of high quality video footage.
How to book
Check with us that there is still space on the clinic then get your flight booked ASAP (the earlier you book, the less it will cost you). It’s ideal if you can get onto the Easyjet flight opposite. If not you will have to pay extra for a separate transfer.
