Getting to Naxos
Naxos cannot be reached direct via charter flights. The 2 main options for getting to Naxos are as follows:
- Transfer via Athens
- Transfer via Santorini or Mykonos
TRANSFER VIA ATHENS
If you have booked with Olympic, then please allow up to an hour for transfers between airlines. All airlines now share the same terminal building so its very easy to connect.
If you have decided to take the ferry, then you have the following choices:
- take the X96 bus just parked outside of the terminal building (up to 90 mins)
- take a taxi (20-30 mins)
- private transfers (20-30 mins)
Private Transfers
We can organise VIP transfers with private cars and pre-arranged ferry tickets from £70 pp (slow ferry) and £95 (high speed ferry).

Normal ferry
Organised transfer by taxi or bus to the port, Blue Star Ferries to Naxos appr. 5 hours.
Please note, that flights have to land in Athens at 15:15 latest to reach the ferry to Naxos on time (departure usually around 17:30). Ferry schedules

High Speed Ferry
Organised transfer by taxi or bus to the port, High Speed ferry to Naxos appr. 3,5 hours.
This option can be booked in advance – if nevertheless the transfer takes place with Blue Star ferries for any reason, the surcharge will be refunded. The flights have to land in Athens before 14.15 to reach the ferry on time (departure usually around 16:30).

FLIGHTS
Olympic Airways operates up to 2 flights per day between Athens and Naxos. The international and domestic terminals are now integrated so transfers couldn't be easier. Simply book direct with Olympic and present your e-ticket on check-in. Flight times are approximately 45mins and cost 70 Euros pp each way. Download flight schedule
TRANSFER VIA SANTORINI OR MYKONOS
You can also reach Naxos with charter flights to Santorin or Mykonos and a following ferry transfer of approx. 1,5 – 3 hours. Due to the fact, that SantorinI is part of the main ferry route to Athens, the ferry connections are better than from Mykonos. However, also here longer waiting times may occur or an overnight stay be necessary.
Please note that sometimes due to flight schedules or clients’ request a Highspeed ferry can or has to be booked. The additional fee of 17 Euro (via Santorin) or 11 Euro (via Mykonos) has to be paid on the spot.
Transfer hotels
On request we organise stopover hotels for one or more nights on Mykonos, Santorini or in Athens. Our hotels in Athens are situated close to the Acropolis and the famous old town of Plaka or in the small yacht harbour of Piraeus.
