Location Overview

Moulay is one for the wave junkies, for sure. Not only does this place offer some of the best and most reliable wavesailing on earth, but its rustic and innocent charm totally befits the ethos of the adventurer.

In season, you can expect to be windsurfing on your 3.7-4.2 sails for the most of the day starting with gentle shoulder-high waves in the morning to stunning down-the-line wave riding as the day progresses and the wind turns cross-off.

The sea is a little chilly so you will need at least a 3/2 wetsuit although that doesn't deter hundreds of windsurfers returning each year to get their fix as the outside temperatures are just perfect to off-set the coolness of the ocean.

Moulay is less than 30 mins from Essaouira so if you need a change of scenery, then why not enjoy the afternoon within the UNESCO registered 'Medina' where you will discover the heart and history of this region whilst you wonder through the numerous narrow streets with its quaint shops and cafes.
